Tight Lines, New Friends & Zero Judgment
Celebrating National Women’s Fly Fishing Day
There’s something about a group of women getting together with their fly rods—equal parts focus, laughter, and proud spark. And on National Women’s Fly Fishing Day, we’re celebrating all of it.
The FlyGals of the San Jose Flycasters are gathering for casting, connection, and community—and we want you to be part of it.
Whether you’ve never picked up a fly rod or you’ve been casting for years, this day is for you. Total beginner? Perfect. We’ll get you started. More experienced? Come refine your cast and share the support. No pressure, no expectations - just a welcoming space to learn, laugh, and enjoy the time together.
We’ll have a short program, casting lessons for all levels, a few fun games and a BBQ lunch. But the heart of the day is celebrating women in fly fishing - showing up, trying something new, and lifting each other up along the way.
Come celebrate with us. Cast, laugh, learn - and support each other
