We do have the opportunity to take a few more people (at the $160 ticket price) on a first come first serve basis. 

This opportunity will remain open until through Tuesday, November 5th There are literally only a few seats available, so don’t delay if you want to attend the Hall of Fame Event. 

If you still want to procure a ticket to the Hall of Fame Event, reach out to Ron Beltramo (NCCFFI First Vice President) by sending an e-mail to rjbeltramo@aol.com, stating your need (for one or two tickets).

Once Ron receives your e-mail, he will get back to you to let you know if any seats are still available for the Hall of Fame Event, and help you secure & pay for your ticket(s). 

Please note tickets "will not" be available to buy at the door on the day of the Hall of Fame Event.”

The NCCFFI Hall of Fame Dinner is Back!!

It is with great pleasure that the Northern California Council, FFI announces that we will re-start our Nationally known Hall of Fame dinner this year - 2024. 

We started this event back in 1982. The award recognizes the recipient for his/her contribution to the improvement of the art, science, literature, techniques, enjoyment, and conservation of fly fishing and our natural resources. The list of past winners is the "who's who in Fly Fishing" for Northern California!

The Winner of the 2024 Hall of Fame Award is: Mike Mercer

Without a doubt, Mike has achieved greatness in almost everything he has touched since starting work at the Fly Shop in Redding, CA back in 1978. He was the first employee! His many fly pattern creations are some of the best ever, and most of us fish his flies every year. Beyond that, he's become the go-to-guy for great destination fishing anywhere in the world. 

Many of us grew up on Mike's regular articles in Fly Fisherman and throughout the fly fishing arena. His love of fly tying culminated in the 2005 best-selling book, Creative Fly Tying, in which he guides the reader through his most famous patterns, as well as his approach to creating new patterns. Besides all that, he is simply the nicest fellow on the planet!
